A Big Boom In The IT Industry – PM Imran Khan Announces Zero Tax On IT Freelancers

PM Imran Khan partially inaugurates Pakistan’s first e-commerce portal called National e-Tijarat Portal during the first e-commerce convention on Monday 21st February 2022 in Islamabad. Moreover, the portal is not ready yet and is in the working process.

“People like Bill Gates are very lucky. Bill Gates work for humanity, even he has earned lots of money but he decided that he will spend his resources for the help of humanity. In Pakistan, he assisted a lot in the eradication of poliovirus. He was in touch with me about the poliovirus. Last year there was not even a single case reported for the poliovirus.”

“I invited Bill Gates to visit Pakistan. My interest was to take his assistance and advice for Pakistan’s IT sector. There will be good news soon in the coming days”

Also, referring to the visit of Bill Gates, Imran Khan said that he wanted to involve Bill Gates in the IT sector.

While addressing the launching ceremony of the National e-Tijarat Portal, PM Imran Khan announces zero tax on registered IT Freelancers. He further said that the youth has immense talent but there is no system to excel their talent.

“We will keep giving incentives and we will remove all the barriers from the way of our youth so that we can properly facilitate our youth and give them the opportunity to get the advantage from this technology’s revolution.”

During the speech, PM said that the world is moving towards digitalization and our IT industry is at its peak so we shouldn’t miss the opportunity towards revolutionary changes.

“IT exports are increasing and in coming years Pakistan can achieve Rs50 billion IT export’s target. It seems like our youth is taking advantage of this technology.”
