Pakistan hosted the OIC session after 41 years

The seventeenth Extraordinary Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of Organization of Islamic Cooperation began in Islamabad Sunday at the National Assembly Hall with 20 unfamiliar priests and 10 agent unfamiliar clergymen in participation from across the Muslim world.

The exceptional meeting of the OIC holds extraordinary importance as a feature of the developing global worry about the philanthropic emergency in Afghanistan and the pressing need to address it.

Several delegations, including foreign ministers, deputy foreign ministers, foreign secretaries, and other senior government officials, have arrived from several countries, including Turkey, Sierra Leone, Somalia, UAE, Tajikistan, Bangladesh, Jordan, and Palestine, in Islamabad.

Taking to his Twitter handle, PM Khan invited the appointment from the OIC part states for coming to Pakistan to go to the urgent OIC meeting. “I invite designations from OIC [member] states, eyewitnesses, companions, accomplices [and] worldwide associations to Pakistan,” he said on the microblogging site.

The extraordinary session of OIC Council of Foreign Ministers is an expression of solidarity with the Afghan people and to focus our collective energies on addressing the dire humanitarian situation in Afghanistan.
