Billboard is the world’s top music and entertainment magazine published weekly by the Billboard Hollywood Reporter Media Group. It is an American magazine that provides music charts, news, top fashion, and style trends, videos, opinions, upcoming events, reviews on music & other categories related to the music industry. It was founded by the two partners William Donaldson and James Hennegan in 1894 as trade publications for the billboard posters. It is the most credible source of getting information on every topic and genre of music. 

In the early ’20s, Billboard covered the entertainment media of America including circuses, burlesque shows, fairs, and also designed the Mail Service for Global entertainers. It primarily focused on the music industry like Jukebox, Radio became commonplace. The magazine also offers business news, chart beat, record labels, top trends of the week, news about the singers, musicians, etc.

In 1925, when Donaldson died, the Billboard was distributed to his children and Hennegan’s children and in 1985, it was sold to private investors and now it’s been run by various individual parties.
