Spotify Removed Neil Young’s Music From His Platform Over Neil & Joe Dispute

Spotify, the world’s famous giant audio streaming and music provider platform deleted Neil Young’s music from its platform on his demand. The “Old Man” and “Heart of Gold” singer published a letter to his manager and record label “Warner Music Group” to instantly remove all the music from Spotify as Joe’s podcast is spreading misinformation regarding the Covid 19 vaccines.

  “I am doing this because Spotify has become the home of life-threatening COVID misinformation.”

 Young published a letter on his website where he said,

“They can have Rogan or Young. Not both.”

He further added,

“I truly want to thank the many, many people who have reached out to me thanking me for taking this position — people who are health professionals on the front lines, people who have lost loved ones to COVID or who are worried for their own children and families. I have never felt so much love coming from so many .”

Neil wrote in an open letter on Wednesday

Similarly, Neil Young wanted others to do the same & get off their content from Spotify.

“I sincerely hope that other artists and record companies will move off the Spotify platform and stop supporting Spotify’s deadly misinformation about Covid.”

He said in a statement on his website, but he knows that it won’t happen anytime.
