Imran Khan ousted. What is Khan’s next strategy?

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has been ousted from power after losing a no-confidence vote on 10th April 2022. The vote makes Mr. Khan the first Pakistani prime minister to be ousted by a no-confidence motion. After his ousted, hundreds of thousands of Khan supporters protests all around the world and rejected this new government.

Khan says, this is an imported government that is imposed on Pakistan by Foreign conspiracy and he doesn’t accept this government. Khan supporters also rejected this imported government and started a hashtag of #ImportedGovernementUnappacpted which is still trending in Pakistan with over 9M tweets.

Mr. Khan has previously said he would not recognize an opposition government, claiming that there was a US-led conspiracy to remove him because of his refusal to stand with Washington on issues against Russia and China.

After three massive rallies in Peshawar, Karachi and Lahore, Imran Khan has proven that he still commands significant respect. Many people came to support Imran Khan and demands Early Elections.

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan, during his party’s power show at Minar-i-Pakistan in Lahore on Thursday, indicated that his next stop will be in the national capital as he urged his supporters and party workers to “wait for my call.”

“I’m not giving a call just to the PTI but all of Pakistan. You all have to prepare in the streets, cities and villages. You have to wait for my call when I call you all to Islamabad. I want to make it clear that I don’t want a confrontation”
