Recently, the maker of Xbox Gaming System “Microsoft” announced to make an entry into one of the largest video games companies to buy the game Publisher Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion this week. It’s the biggest push into gaming and will be the third-largest gaming company by revenue. By acquiring these hit games like Diablo, Overwatch, Call of Duty, and Candy Crush. The deal would play a major part for the Microsoft gaming brand in its battle against Sony’s Play Station.
Microsoft would become a more popular gaming company than Nintendo as per the sources. This deal will help Microsoft to compete with such tech rivals like Meta, in creating such a virtual world to play and work both.
The decision for purchasing Call of Duty will result in increasing game pass subscription service. Microsoft’s Chief Executive Satya Nadella stated that:
“We’re investing deeply in world-class content, community, and the cloud to usher in a new era of gaming that puts players and creators first and makes gaming safe, inclusive, and accessible to all,”
